Bio
Born in Indiana, Tao-chia Karen Chin lived in upstate New York for
eight years before moving to Taiwan. As Karen grew up she always
enjoyed drawing and eventually lead her to major Architecture at
Chung-Yuan Christian University. After graduating she practiced as a
designer at Chao-hsien Yeh Architects & Planners. However wanting to
pursue her childhood dreams and expand her horizons in arts, she took
a dive and worked as an intern at an award-winning animation studio,
Dancing Ink. Karen is currently a MFA graduate student for the
Design & Technology program at Parsons The New School for Design.
While not sitting in front of a computer playing games or watching film,
Karen spends her time taking photos and playing basketball.
